Strategic Thinker Development Programme
Admin Support Role
Applications close 11th January 2023
Hi I'm Nina, I'm looking for an admin star to support my Strategic Thinker Development Programme and set up systems to make it run smoothly!

If you are looking for flexible work that can be done remotely around your other commitments and you get satisfaction from organising people and things by implementing systems, this role could be for you. It is a short term contract role involving approximately 60-100 hours of work over 4-5 months.
About me and my work
I am a business psychologist and I run my own practice which includes coaching, training and facilitation. My work focuses on equipping leaders and teams with strategic thinking skills. I'm also a mum to two beautiful girls aged 3 and 6, and together with my husband, we balance work around our family needs. If that's you too, I understand the juggle! That's why I've created this role to be as flexible as possible.
The Strategic Thinker Development Programme (STDP) is an eight week development programme that involves psychometric assessment, video modules, online group modules, and coaching sessions. You can check out the programme on my website here.
The role
The initial contract will run from mid/late January until late June and consist of casual hours supporting 2-3 programme intakes.

The work involves tasks such as:
-
Setting up calendar invites
-
Scheduling and allocating assessments with participants and assessment administrators
-
Downloading, saving and sending assessment reports
-
Communicating with participants
-
Updating the programme website page
-
Saving and sending session recordings
-
Collating programme evaluation results
-
Designing and setting up systems to make the programme run smoothly
The ideal person will:
-
Have some relevant admin support experience (does not have to be from paid work)
-
Enjoy and have experience setting up systems
-
Know Microsoft Teams and Office inside out
-
Be competent with technology and IT in general
-
Be super-efficient and organised
-
Be a natural at taking initiative and ownership of their work
-
Have availability to suit the requirements below
The hours
Each programme intake is estimated to involve approximately 12-18 hours of admin support. Time spent creating systems will be in addition to this and depend on what we decide to develop.
The hours are very flexible to fit within your availability.
-
Some of the work can be done ahead of time and therefore fit into your schedule when it suits you, however some of the work needs to be done at a certain time or within a day or two so you do need enough availability to be able to meet the programme needs. The ideal candidate will have at least some availability four days per week during working hours (although there won't always be a need for work on all of those four days, this ensures that an email inbox can be monitored and responded to within reasonable timeframes).

-
During the school terms, fitting work within school hours will be no problem.

-
Most of the work can be self-organised to be done during school terms, but there will be some times during holidays when the programme is running and there are tasks that need doing.
The pay
The role will be paid at on an hourly rate to be negotiated between us and will reflect your experience. The likely range is $35-$50 per hour. Please note that this role is offered on a casual contract basis which means there are no regular hours, sick leave or holiday pay and you provide your own computer and pay your own tax, ACC and Kiwisaver contributions.
The location
I work from home in Mairangi Bay, Auckland. Your work can be done fully remote or you can join me in my little home office, or a combination that works for you.
Ongoing work
After the period of this contract, I will be reviewing the ongoing admin support needs of the programme and there may be an opportunity to extend or expand the contract.
